Liverpool ended their seven year wait for a major trophy when they won the Champions League in June with a win over Tottenham.
United have only won the European trophy three times – in 1968, 1999 and 2008.
After the footage did the rounds on Twitter, one furious United fan replied: "When you haven't won a league title in 30 years and have won just two major trophies in eight years, should you really be in any position to take the mick out of your rival?"
Another added: "Thank god they bottled the league, for everyone's sake."
Before one Liverpool fan hit back: "It's called a rivalry and this is fantastic banter, dry your eyes.

Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard appeared to have an explosive showdown in a video posted by the club's own media team.
And Romelu Lukaku trained away from the rest of the squad amid talks with Inter Milan over a summer move.
