Man City to launch £54m bid for Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool target Houssem Aouar
28th December 2018

RMC Sport claims the young playmaker could be heading to the Etihad after impressing Pep Guardiola this season.

Aouar starred as Lyon beat City in England before drawing with them in France during the Champions League group stage.

And after singing the 21-year-old’s praises, Guardiola now looks set to make a mega-money move after falling seven points behind Liverpool in the Premier League title race.

However, it means suitors Chelsea will miss out after Aouar was reportedly identified by Maurizio Sarri as a potential target.

The Frenchman has also been attracting interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.

But if he does end up moving to England, it is highly likely he will be wearing the sky-blue of City.

And it also appears Aouar would be joining as a direct replacing for Brahim Diaz.

The academy product has refused to sign a new contract, with his current deal expiring next summer.

And it’s claimed that City have agreed a £14m deal to sell him to Real Madrid when the transfer window opens next month.
