TRANSFER DEADLINE Day is amongst us and teams are thrashing out their final round of deals ahead of the big finale.

Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be staying PUT after getting on the Manchester United bus to head to Leicester City for tonight's Premier League game.

But Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reached a full agreement to join Chelsea for £12m, with Marcos Alonso heading to Barcelona in exchange, according to reports.

While Liverpool are also making some moves, with the Reds reported to be close to signing former Arsenal target Arthur Melo.

The Juventus man has been pictured boarding a flight from Turin as he prepares to sign a loan deal.

Manchester City have announced the £15m signing of Dortmund's Manuel Akanji.

That means Pep Guardiola will have a plethora of defensive options with none of his centre-backs set to leave.

    Everything has been agreed between the two clubs and just a few perceived formalities are to be completed.

    The striker enjoyed working under Thomas Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund and the German coach will be hoping he can get Aubameyang back to his best.

    Busy day in West London ahead

    Fulham have announced that they have completed their first signing of what is expected to be a very busy transfer deadline day at Craven Cottage.

    The Premier League club have announced the loan signing of left-back Layvin Kurzawa from Paris Saint-Germain.

    Kurzawa said: “I feel very, very happy to be here. It’s a family here, everyone is very cool. I’ve watched every Fulham game this season, and I can’t wait to play with this team.”

    Fulham sporting director, Tony Khan added: "I'm thrilled that we've been able to add Layvin Kurzawa to our squad! As we work to build on our good start to the season, adding a player of his talent and his experience against top competition will compliment our team well. Lavyin is excited to be part of Marco's squad and to play for Fulham."

    Benfica seal Draxler signing

    The Portuguese club have confirmed the signing of German international Julian Draxler on a season-long loan deal.

    Draxler is looking to kick-start his career after falling out of favour at PSG.

    The defensive midfielder only signed this summer from Borussia Monchengladbach.

    Potter gets his man

    Brighton have agreed a fee with Chelsea to sign Scotland international Billy Gilmour.

    The two clubs have agreed a deal reported to be in the region of £9m.

    Gilmour, 21, is thought to have agreed personal terms with the club, signing a four-year deal.

    The Seagulls have been in the hunt for a midfielder following the departure of Yves Bissouma to Tottenham earlier this summer.

    Gilmour made a stunning start to his Chelsea career under Frank Lampard but fell out of favour under Thomas Tuchel and endured a difficult loan with Norwich City last season.

    The midfielder was initially left without a squad number at the start of the season but was named on the bench for Chelsea's defeat at Southampton on Tuesday.

    Slovak heads to Old Trafford

    Newcastle keeper Martin Dubravka has completed his loan move to Man Utd.

    United will pay a £2m fee for the loan and deal does include a 'recall option' for January should The Magpies need to activate it.

    Dubravka made his feelings known as soon as the interest came in from ten Hag's side and told Newcastle he wanted to make the move to Old Trafford.

    Having falling down the pecking order since the signing of Nick Pope, the Slovakian keeper will offer cover for David De Gea.

    Idrissa Gueye returns to Goodison Park after leaving the club to join PSG in 2019 after making a name for himself in The Toffees midfield.

    The Senegal midfielder spent three years in Paris and made 74 appearances, scoring 6 goals in the process.

    Everton re-sign Gueye

    Frank Lampard has re-signed Idrissa Gana Gueye from PSG. The deal is worth £8m and the midfielder is set to stay at the club until 2024.

    The Senegal international spent three years with the Toffees, racking up 108 appearances and making a reputation for himself that saw him depart for Ligue 1 giants PSG.

    Gueye becomes Everton's seventh signing of the window following James Tarkowski, Ruben Vinagre, Connor Coady, Amadou Onana, Dwight McNeil and Neal Maupay.

    His experience and knowledge of the Premier League should help Frank Lampard's side build on a poor season last year.

    According to Mike McGrath of the Daily Telegraph, Brighton have agreed a fee for the signing of Billy Gilmour from Chelsea.

    The South coast club have been rumoured with a deal for the 21-year-old who spent last season on loan at Norwich.

    Arsenal are set to make a second offer to try and sign Douglas Luiz.

    Reports earlier today suggested personal terms are all but agreed between the player and the club, with just the transfer fee still to be hashed out.

    And following a rejection at the first time of asking, Arsenal will return with a second offer to try and convince Aston Villa to let him go according to The Athletic.

    The player is understood to still be pushing for the deal.

    Ajax have rejected Chelsea's offer fro midfielder Edson Alvarez and told the player he will not be leaving this summer.

    Dutch journalist Mike Verweij reported that the Mexican is angry with the club and finds it unfair that other players have been given the chance to move away.

    According to Duncan Castles, Chelsea submitted an offer worth almost £69million in the latest talks between the clubs.
