Dana White signs up two new UFC stars in Mana Martinez and Fernando Padilla after going on scouting mission for talent

DANA WHITE snapped up some fresh talent for the UFC after scouting Fury FC 46 in Houston on Sunday.

Mana Martinez and Fernando Padilla have become the latest additions to the UFC roster, after impressive victories in their respective title fights.

Having been in attendance at UFC 262 in the same city on Saturday night, White hit up Fury FC 46 while filming his show 'Lookin' for a Fight'.

And the boss, 51, appeared to find what he was looking for.

Padilla, 24, produced a second round TKO of Cameron Graves to secure the FFC Featherweight title – while moving to 14-4 in his young career.

He will now join the UFC's stacked featherweight division, already featuring the likes of Max Holloway, Brian Ortega, Chan Sung-jung, Calvin Kattar and champion Alex Volkanovski.

Martinez, 25, was up next on Sunday, as he took on Jose Johnson for the Fury FC belt at 135.

He had actually fought in front of Dana before, when he lost to Drako Rodriguez on the Contender Series last year.

But things went better this time around when, after producing a stunning round one TKO, Martinez got the nod from White.

He will join the likes of Petr Yan, Aljamain Sterling, Cory Sandhagen, Jose Aldo and Dominick Cruz in the UFC's bantamweight division.

Fury FC 46 was headlined by its welterweight title fight between Nikolay Veretennikov and UFC alumnus Anthony Ivy.

After the former's victory, he earned a shot on Dana White's Contender Series, as he bids to join Padilla and Martinez in earning a deal.

Padilla and Martinez's coaches both took to social media to celebrate their fighter's achievements.

Saul Soliz wrote: "Congrats, Leomana “Mana Boy” Martinez, the newest member of the UFC roster!

"All the hard work and sacrifice got you there and will continue to guide you on your rise to the top!"

Head coach Colin Oyama also gushed over Padilla's 'improvements'.
