CHELSEA are reportedly scouting Hoffenheim winger Nick Breitenbucher – dubbed 'the next Arjen Robben'.

Despite already having Christian Pulisic and Willian in the ranks, and Hakim Ziyech joining this summer, Blues are keeping their eye on Breitenbucher.

German website Spox reports Chelsea face competition from a fellow Premier League rival in Liverpool for the 17-year-old wonderkid.

Schalke remain the favourites to poach the talent from their Bundesliga rivals.

Breitenbucher's style of play has been compared to former Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben.

The Dutchman of course recently announced a sensational return to boyhood club FC Groningen, calling off his retirement.

One of Breitenbucher's team-mates described him as "a little devil" and that he "says exactly what he thinks and is very direct".

And fresh after signing Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, another player Chelsea are being linked with from the Bundesliga is Kai Havertz.

Leverkusen boss Peter Bosz admits the club could sell Havertz after missing out on Champions League football next term.

But there were worries in the Chelsea camp after Real Madrid entered the running.

However, Brazilian left-back Wendell claims team-mate Havertz wants to play in England – and will be a roaring success if he moves to West London.

Wendell said: “Psychologically, the Germans are very focused people.

“They are very concentrated on what they want. If he goes to the Premier League, he will learn a lot.

“I think Kai dreams of playing there. He has that desire, and I think he decides to play in England he will be a success."
