    Morning, Arsenal fans

Leicester superstar Youri Tielemans and Ajax centre-back Lisandro Martinez top the transfer gossip.

Tottenham have reportedly boosted the Gunners' hopes of signing main target Tielemans.by winning the race for fellow midfielder Yves Bissouma.

And it's claimed the Gunners have had a £25million bid rejected for Argentina star Martinez.

Emirates chief Mikel Arteta is still in the race for the 24-year-old – but Manchester United are also said to be keen.

Arteta wants a proven performer to compete for a role alongside Ben White in his improving defence.

A bigger priority, though, is the Arsenal attack – with Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus still the top target.

But Arteta hopes Eddie Nketiah will finally produce a breakthrough WHOLE season after signing a new long-term contract.

Newcastle and Crystal Palace had been linked with the 23-year-old frontman.

And Arteta said: “I’m delighted Eddie is staying with us. He represents what we are all about and all the values of the club.

“We are very happy that he has extended his contract and now we have to get to work and continue to develop the great talent and person that we have in him.”Finally, incoming keeper Matt Turner hopes to oust Aaron Ramsdale as No1 – just like the England stopper did to Bernd Leno last season.

The 16-cap USA star, 27, told Sky Sports: “Aaron had an amazing season.

“I’m coming in to push him and become the best goalkeeper I can become, while also making him the best goalkeeper he can become.”

    Matt wants to oust Aaron

Incoming Arsenal keeper Matt Turner hopes to oust Aaron Ramsdale as No1 – just like the England stopper did to Bernd Leno last season.

The 16-cap USA star, 27, is linking up with the Gunners this month after they agreed a deal with Major League Soccer side New England Revolution in February.

Turner is tipped to star the season as second-choice keeper as Leno is expected to leave.

But the MLS player of the year aims to ‘push’ Ramsdale’ and make them both better players.

He told Sky Sports: “Aaron had an amazing season for Arsenal and played well all year. I’d agree with it for now.

“I’m coming in to push him and become the best goalkeeper I can become, while also making him the best goalkeeper he can become.”

    It's all White for some…

England ace Ben White proves he’s gone overboard for Milly Adams — by taking her on a yacht holiday three weeks after asking her to wed.

The Arsenal defender, 24, was snapped strolling on a beach with 25-year-old Milly before making waves offshore.

They goofed about on the eight-berth vessel before Milly pushed him into the sea.

The couple have been joined by family and friends for the break in Ibiza — but found plenty of time for romance.

An onlooker said: “They were all over each other, and Ben seemed besotted with Milly.

“They only had eyes for each other, despite being with company.

“They were laughing a lot and joking together as they leapt into the sea. Ben was picking her up a lot and they really seemed to be having a great time.

“It certainly looked more fun than being with the England team.”

Red Devils duel Gunners for Lisandro

Manchester United have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race for Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez.

The Gunners are rumoured to have had a £25million bid rejected for the Argentine ace.

And now the Red Devils have emerged as rivals to Arsenal for Martinez’s signature.

Boss Erik ten Hag has been asked to be kept in the loop with Martinez’s situation, according Sky Sports.

Martinez has spent the last three seasons at Ajax, winning two Dutch titles under Ten Hag.

And now it seems the United gaffer is keen on a reunion with the 24-year-old centre-back.

The Red Devils struggled at the back last season, with skipper Harry Maguire often coming under-fire for his performances.

Raphael Varane also struggled for consistency in an injury-hit first campaign at Old Trafford.

United are yet to make a transfer this summer, but Ten Hag appears open to linking up with Martinez once again.

However, the left-footed defender is also a target for Mikel Arteta, and understood to be interested by the idea of working under the Spaniard.

    'I'm learning the Gunners' DNA'

New stopper Matt Turner is determined to keep possession of the ball better – because it's the Arsenal way.

The recruit from New England Revolution told Sky Sports: "The DNA of this team is possession-based and I believe that’s what they will expect from me when I get on the pitch.

"It’s the area of my game that some call a weakness but one where I’ve improved over the past few months.

"I’m connecting a few more passes, reading the game better and understanding the way I can hurt teams a lot better.

"We don’t play that [passing] style in New England but when I go with the national team, we do. When I have extended periods with the national team, I read the game better and make more passes.

"I’m excited to be at Arsenal to do that every single day instead of two or three weeks here or there."

Juve get shirty as Inter close on Dybala

Juventus' official club shop has pulled Paulo Dybala shirts from the shelves.

The 28-year-old playmaker is on the verge of a move to bitter rivals Inter Milan after being linked with Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham.

Dybala is out of contract with Juve this summer, and confirmed last month he would be leaving the club with an emotional goodbye after seven years in Turin.

He does not officially become a free agent on June 30. But Juventus have made the decision to stop stocking 'Dybala 10' kits on their website early as nears an exit.

Meanwhile Federico Bernardeschi, Giorgio Chiellini and Alvaro Morata shirts remain on sale, despite the trio also being set to leave next month.

Football Italia claim the decision could be because the club feel betrayed by Dybala's decision to join arch-rivals Inter.

Gabriel appears to slam 'ungrateful' Arsenal fans

Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes appeared to slam some of the club's supporters after they criticised the decision to offer striker Eddie Nketiah a new deal.

Nketiah, 22, was heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates as his contract expired this summer.

But the Gunners announced on Saturday that the forward has now penned a new long-term contract to keep him in North London.

The club also handed Nketiah the No14 shirt – which was worn by club legend Thierry Henry.

It was a welcome move for many Arsenal fans as fellow strikers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have both departed within the last 12 months.

But others felt it was a mistake to keep Nketiah, an opinion which Gabriel seemed to take umbrage with.

Minutes after Nketiah's deal was confirmed, he tweeted: "How can you be so ungrateful! OMG 🙃."

And the centre-back also like a tweet which praised the decision to hand Nketiah the new contract.

It read: "Don't be fooled by the loud haters.

"Plenty of us are happy with the contract extension and don't mind the shirt number ❤️."

    Dembele ‘fine’ at Barca

We’re all slightly different on holiday, surely.

And having been linked with Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea in the past, Ousmane Dembele used his break to insist he’s ‘fine’ at Barcelona.

Some reports pounced on his brief holiday comment, when quizzed by a fan at links to Blues’ boss Thomas Tuchel – to suggest it’s a big blow to Chelsea in particular.

But can you really judge something like that when you’re put on the spot in such a way?

Xhaka’s yellow card vs Leeds investigated by National Crime Agency

Granit Xhaka’s yellow card against Leeds in December is being investigated by the National Crime Agency after a £65,000 bet on him getting booked was placed, writes Kealan Hughes.

The Arsenal star, 29, was booked for timewasting in the 86th minute of the Premier League match at Elland Road.

Xhaka delayed taking a free-kick with the Gunners leading the game 4-1 at the time, prompting referee Andre Marriner to show him a yellow card.

There has never been any suggestion of any wrongdoing by Xhaka or any other Arsenal player with the investigation not examining the midfielder’s behaviour.

Not a Fab deal for Porto

Porto’s decision to sell Fabio Vieira to Arsenal for £34m hasn’t sat well with former club president José Fernando Rio.

He thinks Porto have undersold the attacking midfielder.

Speaking to Rádio Renascença, via Record, he fumed: “The financial administrator had already announced the need to realise between €70-100m in capital gains this year, and I was already waiting for the bleeding to start.

“Obviously, we have to discount the intermediation costs. At Porto, we never know they are high or low, but normally they are quite high.

“President Pinto da Costa has been filling his mouth with numbers, saying that Porto has a situation that allows players to be negotiated only through the release clause, and we see that this is not true.”
