LIVERPOOL have come from nowehere to be the new frontrunners to sign Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.
That's according to Sky Bet, who didn't have Jurgen Klopp's side in the running recently, with the reds now 6/4 to clinch his signature.

But there's no shortage of top contenders sniffing around with both Manchester clubs joined by Chelsea and Arsenal.
While Rea Madrid also feature in Sky Bet's market.
Mac Allister arrived at Brighton from Argentinos Juniors for just £7million in 2019.
He's since made just over 100 appearances for the club, scoring 18 goals and providing eight assists in all competitions.
Though a quality performer, Mac Allister really sprung to stardom when helping Argentina to the ultimate prize at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 24-year-old played in six consecutive games after being left out of their opening defeat to Saudi Arabia, scoring once against Poland.
His performances for club and country has led to increased speculation about his future, despite having over two years remaining on his contract.

His deal expires in June 2025 and Brighton have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months — putting them in the driving seat in any potential negotiations.
But it was revealed by Fabrizio Romano this week that his understanding was Mac Allister would '100% quit Brighton this summer'.
If Mac Allister is to join that list, Sky Bet think Liverpool are in pole position to snap him up.
They recently stepped away from talk of a Jude Bellingham deal but are desperately searching for midfield reinforcements after a dire season.
Man Utd are their nearest challengers Sky Bet reckon and are 5/1 second favourites.
Chelsea were favourites to sign him but have already spent BIG under Todd Boehly, and strengthening their ageing midfield is considered to be a top priority. But their odds have drifted out to 12/1.
That's the same price as Manchester City, with Arsenal 16/1 and Real Madrid 20/1.
