  • PAUL SCHOLES rolled back the years during Vincent Kompany's testimonial match.

  • BRYAN ROBSON has urged United to get their season “firing” after the international break.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have picked up just five points from four games ahead of the clash against Leicester.

Speaking on United's club website, the 62-year-old said: “The boys have just got to get the Crystal Palace game out of their system, you know.

“We didn't perform brilliantly on the day and we could have done better.

“Maybe if we’d scored the penalty [by Marcus Rashford, that hit the woodwork], but we got beat and that’s in the past.

“Ole thinks we are improving all the time, which I agree with, as I think we’ve played pretty well in the games I’ve seen.

“The atmosphere around the place is really good. All we’ve got to do is put a good set of results together, over a short period of time, so let’s get the season firing.

  • UNITED are set to swoop for Paulo Dybala in January, according to TuttoSport.

The Juventus star came closing to making a summer switch to Old Trafford, but the two clubs failed to agree on a deal.

But it is reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will reignite his interest in the Argentine ace in January.

Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain are also expected to battle for his signature.

  • ANDY COLE has claimed United are still a few years away from competing for the Premier League title.

The former Old Trafford star told Sky Sports: “I genuinely believe we're still a few years away.

“We've just got to keep improving, keep bringing in better players and just try to improve season by season, because the two teams at the top – Liverpool and Manchester City – they're pulling away from everyone.

“I was in a team at Manchester United where we were doing exactly the same thing, and in the end everyone closed the gap.”

  • GARY NEVILLE is being slated by fans after his defensive howler during Vincent Kompany's testimonial match.

The Old Trafford veteran watched on as Martin Petrov gave City legends an early lead after he attempted to play the offside trap – and failed miserably.

One Twitter user said: “What's Gary Neville doing.”

Another added: “Imagine the analysis he'd give about that. Horrendous.”

While one claimed: “Gary Neville with some criminal defending there.”
