In the past few days, we've seen a series of hilarious Christmas cards.

Not only do they make us chuckle, some of these cards are even slightly naughty too.

One woman was questioning the festive greeting she received from her 80-year-old aunt.

The American female shared a snap of the hilarious card on Twitter and the relative's innocent blunder left everyone in hysterics.

Alongside a picture of an elf, the front of the card read: "As you know, Santa only comes once a year. Unfortunately…"

While those words seemed fairly innocent on their own, it's what comes next inside the card that's seriously naughty.

Once you open the card, the words: "This year it was in your card" is revealed on the inside.

And let's just say the picture speaks for itself, so there's no need for an explanation as to what Santa really meant.

Since the woman shared an image of her auntie's card on social media, many labelled the relative as a "legend" and a "champ".

One fan joked: "This card looks like it was from the 70s. Has she been saving it for 50 years for just the right moment?"

Another added: "I need to call this card company and insist they apply a light adhesive on the inside."

A third social media fan commented: "Lmao."

But the Twitter user claims this isn't the first time her aunt's pulled a stunt like this.

She later revealed the relative sends a dirty card every year but "this was by far her most graphic".

Just recently, a couple's X-rated family Christmas card with the wife on her knees sparked backlash.

In the snap, the dad's pants are down while his partner, who is wearing a festive red hat, can be seen in between the man's legs.

And in front of the randy duo are the three kids who can be seen posing with the family next to their fireplace.

The card raised many eyebrows when it was shared on Reddit.
