One Tree Hill had many viewers gripped during their nine series run from 2003 to 2012.
Just hearing the 'I Don't Want To Be' theme tune brings back memories of the many (and sometimes ridiculous) storylines including Haley and Nathan's teen pregnancy, Brooke joining the Clean Teens, Peyton's fake brother stalker and Lucas's terrible tattoo.
But what happened to the cast of actors once the cameras stopped rolling?
Sophia Bush (Brooke Davis)
Brooke was the captain of the cheerleading squad and launched her own successful clothing brand while at high school – Clothes over Bros.
In real life she's also an over achiever. Sophia is a passionate activist, who uses her voice and social media platform for issues including mental health, politics and the environment, and was a founding member of the Time Up's movement.
She also co-founded I am a Voter – a non bias organisation dedicated to creating a cultural shift around voting and civic engagement. While similar to Brooke, she owns a clothing brand – Fashion Kind, which focuses on sustainability.

She also continued acting with a cameo on This Is Us, and a reoccurring role in Chicago PD. Next year, she will play the titular role in medical drama Good Sam.
At the end of One Tree Hill, Sophia broke up with fellow actor Austin Nichols (you may know him as Julian Barker), who she'd been in a relationship with for four years. She also dated co-stars James Lafferty (Nathan Scott) and married Chad Michael Murray (Lucas Scott). She is now engaged to businessman Grant Hughes.
Bethany Joy Lenz (Haley Scott)
Bethany played the tutor girl, with a secret love of music who decided to wait until marriage to have sex (although, she didn't have to wait too long as she married Nathan as a teenager after a few months of dating).
Off-screen, Bethany also has a passion for music. She's released multiple albums, and has a particular penchant for the country genre. After watching the movie Notebook, she was inspired to write a musical based on the characters. So random, but we love it.
Bethany filed for divorce from musician Michael Galeotti around the same time One Tree Hill ended after marrying him in 2005. She now lives in Los Angeles with their daughter Maria.
Hilarie Burton (Peyton Sawyer)
The edgy member of the friendship group was played by Hilarie, who married her long-term partner Jeffrey Dean Morgan of The Walking Dead fame in 2019, and the couple have children Augustus and George.
Their five year struggle to conceive George was detailed in Hilarie's memoir 'The Rural Diaries.' She wrote, "I had been the worst version of myself. Jeffrey had been distant and unreachable. And yet somehow we had found each other again."
She had a reoccurring role on TV show Lethal Weapon, and hosts successful podcast 'Drama Queens' with Sophia and Bethany. The trio analyse episodes of One Tree Hill, as well as interview some of their former co-stars.
Sophia, Bethany and Hilarie accused series creator Mark Schwahn of sexual misconduct in 2017. He was subsequently fired from E!’s The Royals.
Chad Michael Murray (Lucas)
He found himself in a love triangle with best friends Brooke and Peyton, and mastered the art of a smouldering look during his time on One Tree Hill.
Chad is a one-woman man now, with wife Sarah Roemer, who he met on set of Chosen, and they now share two children – who's names they've never disclosed.
Like Lucas, Chad is also a writer and released thriller American Drifter in 2017.
James Lafferty (Nathan Scott)
Nathan was the basketball star who turned from bad boy to dream husband.
James has now turned his hand to writing and directing. He recently worked with Stephen Colleti (Chase Adams in One Tree Hill) on vampire TV show Everyone is Doing Great (which they also starred in) which went onto Hulu this year.
He has also found love with Home and Away actress Alexandra Park, and the pair got engaged last year.
Antwon Tanner (Antwon/Skills Taylor)
Antwon, who played the river court regular had legal problems which meant going to jail for three months.
He pleaded guilty to "intent to defraud" after selling over a dozen social security numbers for $10,000.
Antwon is now happily married and the father of four children and his most notable project is a role in Black Jesus.
Lee Norris (Mouth McFadden)
His role continued to evolve and get bigger during One Tree Hill.
Following the end of the drama, Lee continued acting. His most notable roles include playing an officer in film Gone Girl and playing Stuart in the Boy Meets World spin-off, Girl Meets World.
He married Andrea Norris in 2011, with many of his co-stars attending the nuptials.
