One of the best pieces of advice is to try and avoid tackling the shop on weekends and Thursday evenings as you can expect, this is when most people pay a visit and you could end up queuing for hours.

Popping into the store early or just as it opens will be your best bet to not only get in and get out quickly but to also grab the new pieces as displays would be prepped ready for the new shoppers.

Another advantage of shopping during the week is that you're more likely to snap up new styles as this is when they receive their deliveries of new stock.

Primark are known for their affordable prices, but one way in which you can bag yourself a better bargain in store is by browsing other departments.

If you're looking for a certain style of something, checking out the opposite genders section could have a similar style for a lot less.

Also, locate the further reduction displays, they might not always be in plain site, but they're definitely in the shops somewhere.

These might have out of season products but at least then you'll be ready for when they next come around and you can get deals for as little as 50p.

Another way to get a discount is to head online to websites such as Amazon and eBay who sell some of the brands best pieces at lower prices.

From Disney must-haves to home essentials, they cover everything.

This also cuts out the stress of navigating the shop and spending the majority of your day queuing.

If you're wondering into store to have a browse then go for it, however, you can save time by browsing the brands website at their new in pieces.

Even though to might not be able to purchase these on the website, you can at least create yourself a shopping list before heading in.

Another main tip is to be patient and try on the clothes before buying them.

We often head home after what we think is a successful shopping trip to only try on the items and realise that they're either not what we thought, the fit is either a big snug or takes oversize to a new level.

Make sure to keep your receipts, we know returning items can see a chore, but you might as well get your money back if you're not going to wear it.

Finally, we all know what the British weather can be like, you'll head in with it being beautiful sunshine and when you come out there's a typhoon happening.

Make sure to bring a waterproof bag because whilst it's great that Primark's bags are recyclable, as soon as they get wet, they disintegrate and no one wants their lingerie splashed over the floor.

So the next time you're gearing up for a shopping trip, make sure to keep all this tips and tricks in mind to make sure it's an enjoyable one.
