A STUDIO apartment in the heart of London is £1,100 a month – but getting into bed might be a struggle.

The mattress on the flat's elevated bed would leave sleeping Brits just INCHES from the ceiling.

The property is just a stone's throw away from Earls Court station in posh Kensington and comes fully furnished.

But the studio is so small, the bed has had to be elevated above the ground on its own mezzanine level.

However, sleeping would be nearly impossible.

Fancy London flat could be yours for just £175,000 – but there’s a tiny catch

1-bed flat in London is yours for £150k but wait until you see inside

The gap between the bed and the ceiling is so narrow, renters would hardly be able to fit a pillow on it.

The ceiling itself has patches of damp, and the plaster appears to be cracking.

A description of the property on website Open Rent states: "Lovely galleried studio at the heart of Earls Court, near station and shops are a two minutes walk.
