Reese's peanut butter creme eggs are back and it's not even January yet
1st January 2019

Eagle-eyed food blogger Newfoodsuk spotted the tasty snacks back on sale in Tesco over the weekend.

While, fellow foodie Kevs Snack Reviews, has also spotted Reese's peanut butter cup shaped eggs at Sainsbury’s.

The nutty treats are only available in store for now, costing 50p per egg at Tesco. The Sun has asked Sainsbury's how much its version costs and we'll update this story as soon as we hear back.

But shoppers are gobsmacked to see the Easter treats in stores four months early – Easter Sunday isn't until April 21, 2019- and we've yet to even see in the new year.

One Instagram user commented on the pictures: "Can’t believe eggs are out already!", while someone else said: "I think it’s too early but YUM!!".

But another wrote: "Never too early for Reese's eggs", while someone else said: "Got some mini eggs today – early but so good".

Reece's isn't the only chocolate manufacturer to launch its Easter range at Christmas, shoppers have spotted Cadbury, Lindt and Nestle chocolate eggs already stocked high on supermarket shelves.

Reese’s is no stranger to a celebration chocolate; at Halloween it brought back its PUMPKIN shaped peanut butter cups.

While at ChristmasReese’s sold TWO advent calendars and they were both delicious.

Lidl, meanwhile, sold a TRAY of Reese’s Pieces for £3 for Mother’s Day.
