Prince Andrew has been a 'tower of strength' for the Queen as she has dealt with the crisis over Megxit, a report claims.
The disgraced royal, who was forced to give up official duties over his friendship with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, went to church with the monarch on Sunday.
He has been described as the Queen's 'rock' over the last two weeks, supporting his mum as pressure mounted on her over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step back from the royal family.
The Queen held crisis talks with Harry, Charles and William at her Sandringham estate, before issuing a statement outlining the details of the Sussexes future outside the family.
A royal source told The Sun : "Andrew has been talking to her constantly on the phone and has now gone up to stay with her for a few days.
“He obviously has spare time on his hands but he would have been there as a shoulder to cry on anyway.
“He sees a lot of the Queen at Windsor, probably more than any other royal, and he is her rock at the moment."
The source added that Andrew's public reputation may be tarnished, but he is still keen to help the Queen and Prince Philip get through Megxit.
The Duke of York is apparently 'beside himself' with remorse over the Epstein affair, The Sun reports.
He is reportedly committed to making up for the damage he has caused to his family.
