It’s Christmas Sandwich Day on November 4 and while we’re all set to tuck into a turkey and stuffing doorstop, Marks and Spencer has pulled out all the stops with a never-seen-before sandwich to impress the pickiest palate.
The high street store is launching its Christmas food range tomorrow, giving it’s sugary bakes and sandwiches a festive makeover in preparation for Santa’s arrival.
By far the best in show is the limited-edition Truffle Egg & Honey Roast Ham sandwich, boasting a whole poached egg in the middle.
With egg mayo, a whole egg, ham and watercress inside, it’s a protein hit at just £4 a sandwich and joins a whole host of holiday-themed lunchtime treats.
5% of all sales from the M&S festive lunch range will be donated to charities Shelter and Together for Short Lives.

Turkey Feast Sandwich – £3.30
It doesn’t get more Christmassy that this classic sandwich. Expect turkey roasted in stock, a delicious pork, sage and onion stuffing, smoked bacon and cranberry sauce. Pick up a mince pie and a clementine and orange juice for the ultimate Christmas lunch.
Turkey Curry Wrap – £3.30
Turkey curry isn’t just for Boxing Day. This brand new wrap is packed full of turkey dressed in curry mayonnaise, sweet mango chutney, carrot and cabbage slaw, pickled red onions and vibrant spinach.
Santa’s Yumnut – £1.50 or £4 for three
Yumnuts are a superstar in the M&S bakery, blending yum yum and doughnut with an incredible 48 layers of deliciousness. The squishy sweet has had a festive makeover, decorated with Santa’s red jacket and black belt. Buy one or treat yourself to a pack of three.

Our Best Ever Mince Pie – £1.20 or £4 for four
It’s never too early to tuck into a mince pie. These chunky pies are made with all-butter shortcrust pastry case, deep-filled with juicy vine fruits, cranberries, clementine and a kick of cognac.
Rudolph the Red-nosed Doughnut – 85p
A cheeky treat for you (or the kids!), this caramel-iced doughnut is topped with caramel-flavoured chocolate curls and finished with a cute Rudolph face. So sweet!
