On Love & Hip Hop: New York, Joe Budden has been in relationships with both Cyn Santana and Tahiry Jose that played out on-screen. With Jose airing out allegations about her relationship with him, has Santana said anything about it?
Cyn Santana and Tahiry Jose were in each other’s spheres on the recent ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ season
Both Santana and Jose were proposed to by Budden. However, neither of them got married to them. Neither is with the rapper and podcast personality at the moment either.
Back on a Love & Hip Hop: New York episode from earlier this year, Erica Mena was trying to hook up Budden (the ex-boyfriend of her ex, Santana) with his ex-girlfriend Jose. This upset Santana, who had made amends with Mena after they had a bad breakup.
“Joe is a grown man. Whoever Joe loves, he gon’ be with. I’m just hurt and I’m like, appalled at Erica. We loved and cared for each other once upon a time but all of a sudden, Cyn and Joe are no longer together and Erica is so invested in putting him back with his ex?” said Santana in the episode.
Jose recently made abuse allegations against Budden
Speaking recently with Hollywood Unlocked, Jose talked about her relationship with Budden and made claims about things that happened while they together. Jose stated that she was abused by Budden.
“I’ve been beaten before,” she said in part during the lengthy interview. “That relationship left me with a fractured rib and a broken nose because somebody was sending him a message. And I used to always say, ‘Stop beefing out there, I’m still working.’ And he hit me on that nose and then pushed me down a flight of stairs…I remember having a plan to leave because the reason he was so upset was because I was already leaving, looking through my phone and s**t. But I had already told him [to] give me two weeks to pack up my things. He agreed to it and then started looking through my phone. Next thing you know, I got woken up by him dragging me by my ankle. I managed to get up from that floor.”
People think Santana is ‘minding her business’ in regards to situation
Though Santana has not directly spoken on Jose’s claims and the aftermath, fans believe that she is referring to it on social media when talking about “blocking out the noise.”
She posted the phrase along with two photos on Twitter. When a fan tweeted her saying that she minded her business and is doing her own thing, Santana said, “Oh Fa sho. Always….My business is my businesses my family and my son. Only thing getting this precious divine Libra energy✨✨✨.”
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, there is no concrete idea Love & Hip Hop: New York is expected to return.
