LIDL is launching cheap school uniform items that you can buy in-store this week.
Retailers have been battling it out to have the cheapest uniforms ahead of the new term starting in just a few weeks time.
Aldi declared its uniform would be the cheapest ever earlier in the summer.
Now Lidl has announced its own line for the 2021 back to school campaign, and you can buy a complete outfit for the same price as rival, Aldi.
A complete set including a sweatshirt, polo tops and either trousers or a skirt will only total £4.50 from the retailer.
The range is called Smart Start and items will be available to buy in store at Lidl from Thursday.
Unfortunately you can't shop the range online as Lidl doesn't deliver products to customer's homes.
It means you don't have to worry about any extra delivery charges, but you will need to make a trip out to the shops – use Lidl's store locator tool to find your closest.
As always it's best to shop around first as you might find there's a better deal out there, and you could pick up uniform even cheaper if you know where to look.
With the new school term starting in September, parents will be scrambling to get their hands on cheap uniforms, so you'll want to be quick to cash in on Lidl's.
Items will be subject to availability and stock will likely sell out fast – you can always ring ahead to your local Lidl store to check how much is available and what sizes are still left near you to avoid disappointment.
In the meantime, take a look at some of the items that will be available to buy later this week.
