Kourtney KardashianandTravis Barker’s wedding is set to be one of the grandest affairs of the year.

With an exclusive guest list including the Kardashian family, it’s no surprise that the couplechose to wed in one of the most beautiful locations in the world: the ancient castle called Castello Brown in Italy.

This will be the third time the couple will be tying the knot together, aftermodest courthouse nuptials on 15 Mayandtheir unofficial Las Vegas elopement last month.

For this third celebration of love, the couple have chosen Italy as their destination and more specifically the picturesque fishing village of Portofino.

Reports suggest that the couple’s venue of choice isPortofino’s Castello Brown.

The Roman-built castle sits on top of a hill and is said to be currently filled with organisers for the reported wedding, which will be a four-day event preceding yet another ceremony in LA when the couple return home.

The castle’s official website described the castle as “surrounded by a Mediterranean garden full of flowers, rose gardens and pergolas”.

Castello Brown is named after Consul Montague Yeats Brown, who transformed the area into a private residence in the 19th Century. Though, it was originally built in 1425.

In the eighteenth century, the castle fell under French rule, and Napoleon Bonaparte even guarded the structure with his troops in an effort to ward off British ships passing through.

It has been owned by the Municipality of Portofino since 1961 and is a private event venue that can be rented out.

According to the website’s rates page, between April and September daily rates range from €3,500 to €5,000 – or £2,950 to £4,200 a day.

The venue also charges between €300 to €2500 for civil unions depending on the nationality of the parties getting married – or £250 to £2,100.

Aside from its stunning view across Portofino and luxurious gardens the castle also boasts an opulent interior fit for royalty.

Invited to the European nuptials, TMZ reports, will be Kourtney’s sisters and brother and of course, momagerKris Jenner , who will attend with long-time boyfriend Corey Gamble, along with the bride’s close friends and Travis’ band members.

Reportedly absent from the important guest list isScott Disick, Kourtney’s ex partner and father to her three children, Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7.

This isn’t the couple’s first trip to the region andKourtney and Travis travelled to Italylast year for a summer break where they soaked up the sun in Genoa and Portofino.

Meanwhile, Kourtney's sisters Kylie and Khloe shared a glimpse inside the stunning castle, which has been decorated in opulent blue and white table cloths and flowers.

She snapped a view from the table showing a small wicker purse with red polka dot lining which sat in front of a table flower display of white flowers with a hint of yellow.

The authenticity of the castle could be seen behind with its stone walls and archway with a wooden door.
