Louise Thompson enjoyed a luxurious spa break as she gears up to give birth to her first child later this year.
The Made In Chelsea star, who is expecting a baby with her fiancée, personal trainer Ryan Libbey, escaped to the country for a day and night of pure relaxation.
The couple stayed at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa near Chippenham in Wiltshire, where prices start from £375 per night.
The award-winning spa features eight luxurious treatment rooms, thermal cabins, sauna and steam rooms and a fitness suite.
Louise enjoyed a choice of pools to swim in from an indoor heated pool, an indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy pool and an outdoor saltwater plunge pool.
The 31-year old shared a series of poolside snaps posing in a black swimsuit ahead of a swim in the blissful surroundings.
However, following her dip Louise admitted that swimming while pregnant wasn’t the weightless experience she'd expected.
Alongside herInstagramimage uploads, she wrote: "I can’t believe that this is my first time swimming THIS YEAR. How crazy is that?
"People say that swimming is the one time that you don’t feel pregnant – that you feel weightless. I have to say, as someone who used to compete in regular swimming competitions where breaststroke was my thing, I strongly disagree… it’s a whole different ball game."
She described it as feeling like "my belly was going to drag along the bottom of the pool" and compared it to a cleaning robot.
"It was, however, very fun and quite liberating!!!!," she continued.
One follower responded, saying: "You’re not big enough yet… wait until your 36 weeks + with a 10-pound baby, your belly skin is stretched to the max, and it’s 34 degrees. Swimming will be the sweetest thing!"
Louise later complained about her lack of maternity swimwear and revealed that she has gone up ‘five cup sizes’ during her pregnancy.
The TV recently listed the changes in her body, reporting "creaky hips, a growing rib cage, numb hands, a mucus-filled nose and a shrinking butt," but insisted it's "freaking awesome".
She ended the Instagram post by saying: "I'm so, so, so, so, SO grateful to be on this journey."
Louise is due to give birth in the autumn.
