To blitz back fat, try this version of the superwoman pose, says celebrity personal trainer, Nadya Fairweather (

Lie face down on your mat, feet slightly apart, and lift up your chest, head and arms like superwoman.

While holding this position, pull your elbows back, imagining you are squeezing a pen between your shoulder blades. Extend your arms back out again to the flying position, then bend the arms pulling the elbows back.

Continue with this movement for eight to 12 reps. Rest for 20 seconds, then repeat. Go for three sets.

Some people find that it’s a bit sore on the pelvic bone. If this is the case, place a folded towel underneath to provide some extra padding.

Oats are great for trimming fat because they are full of fibre, which slows digestion and therefore helps reduce your appetite.

Water-soluble fibre, which is found in oats, also binds with and helps prevent the absorption of fats.

Apples contain a water-soluble fibre called pectin, which helps to reduce how much fat you absorb. If you eat an apple half an hour before a large meal, it can help remove fat from your body faster.

In addition, green tea contains antioxidants called catechins, which are known to help increase your metabolism, thereby helping you burn more calories.
