A furious foodie decided to vent his rage in a supermarket after he spotted that the price of paprika Pringles had been bumped up to £3 a tube.
The fuming crisp-fan decided to let supermarket staff know what he thought of the price hike.
He wrote a note to stick next to the price ticket, which left many giggling.
An anonymous shopper spotted the note and posted a snap of Reddit – much to the hilarity of fellow commenters.
He captioned the photo: “The proper British response to Pringles being raised to £3 in Sainsbury's.”
Would you pay £3f or a tube of Pringles? Tell us in the comments section…
On the note, the passive aggressive foodie wrote: “Three quid – you’re having a bleeding’ laugh ain’t yer!”
Pringles now cost £3 per pack at Sainsbury’s versus £2.50 at Tesco and £2.49 at Asda.
Fellow Reddit users had plenty to say about the situation, too.
One person wrote: “Someone has to pay for all the calories in them.”
While another added: “Most expensive I’ve ever seen them was in a spar and it was £3.60, I nearly died there and then.”
“£2.50 is bearable, £3 is expensive, but £3.60 is straight up daylight robbery,” replied a third.
A fourth said: “I have a theory that Pringles only get charged £2.50/£3 every so often just so their actual price of £1.50 can be called a deal.
“Prove me wrong crispy moustache boy!”
And another noted that they preferred an alternative snack.

They said: “Stax from Walkers are so much better than Pringles, and they're never more than £1.50, usually £1 on offer.
“Ever so slightly thicker and crunchier. I can't go back.”
Kellogg's told the Daily Star: "The recommended retail price of a 200g can of Pringles has gone up to £2.99.
"This reflects the fact it now costs us more to make the food than it did before.
"You’ll still be able to find some great offers on Pringles throughout the year and the price does vary store by store, as it’s the grocer’s absolute discretion and decision what price to charge you.’’
The Daily Star contacted Sainsbury's for comment.
