Celebrities showed their support for Ukraine on the red carpet of the 2022 EE British Academy Film Awards through a touching subtle accessory.
Taking to the pre-show of the award ceremony on Sunday evening, a whole host of famous faces posed up a storm whilst making a political statement by wearing badges and pins with the colours of Ukraine's flag out of respect of the war that is currently happening there.
The invasion which started over two weeks ago has been causing devastation throughout the European country and now people are taking a stand.
Benedict Cumberbatch led the way by sporting a small badge on the right lapel of his Armani suit jacket which was half yellow and half blue.

Daily Mail reported that before the show, Benedict said: "'But we all need, as we know, to do more than wear a badge. We need to donate, we need to pressure our politicians to continue to create some kind of a refugee safety and haven here for people who are suffering."
This was then followed by more celebrities including the boyfriend of actress Millie Bobby Brown Jake Bongiovi who wore a small Ukrainian flag badge on his suit jacket just like Benedict.
Line Of Duty actor Stephen Graham, Conran Kahn and 13 year old Woody Norman all chose to wear blue and yellow layered ribbons.
The ladies also made sure to incorporate the tributes into their glamorous gowns as ex-Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh stunned in a bubblegum pink Alexia Maria dress.
The one-shoulder look which came with a statement bow on the back left the star looking gorgeous as always, but she made sure to add the ribbons on to the waist panel of the gown.
Similarly, EastEnders actress Jessica Plumber who wowed in a black plunging neckline dress where she adorned it with the same ribbon as Millie.

As well as these beautiful women, Daisy Edgar-Jones sparkled her way along the red carpet in a fantastic blue fringe gown by designer brand Gucci.
The 23 year old radiated beauty as she opted for a subtle glam glow as she sported a blue and yellow pin in support of Ukraine on the left strap of her dress.

Ribbons have been a sign of support for many years now and have most noticeably been worn for causes such as pink for breast cancer awareness, red for HIV/AIDS awareness and even poppies to commemorate Remembrance Day.
