The Celebrations advent calendar is a Christmas staple in many homes – but it’s sparked fury this year with the surprises behind doors No 1 and 2.
Many chocolate lovers weren’t happy to find a tiny Bounty bar on Day 1, while others weren’t pleased to find a bite-size Snickers on the second day.
Lucky for them, this first world problem shall soon pass and they’ll find a chocolate more to their liking, be it a Twix, Mars, Galaxy Caramel or something else.
If anything, the fury has reignited the debate over which chocolate is the best in a tub of Celebrations.
Thankfully, a survey may have ended the argument once and for all. Here, Brits have ranked the chocolates from best to worst.

Of the eight chocolates to choose from, there was one clear favourite, according to manufacturer Mars Inc, which polled chocolate lovers and separated the results into five age groups.
The US-based firm said Maltesers Teasers was the winner, topping all five categories (18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54 and 55-plus).
Galaxy appeared to be Brits’ second favourite, followed by Galaxy Caramel and Twix.
Despite the advent calendar uproar, Bounty and Snickers aren’t the least favourite. That distinction went to Mars, although it appears many aren’t fans of Milky Way.
In fact, Snickers ranked second among those aged 35-44 and Bounty was second for those aged 55 and over.
Here are the rankings, obtained by Lad Bible:

The survey was conducted by YouGov, who asked 2,045 adults to rank Celebrations chocolates from best to worst.
Leah Dyckes, Celebrations brand director in the UK, said: "Every year we enjoy seeing the debates rage about the nation’s favourite Celebrations but in truth the Celebrations mix is carefully designed so it is perfect for sharing.
"After all, Christmas is a time to spend time with loved ones."
