The model, business woman, and reality star, 42, recently announced that she has joined the cast of American Horror Story’s upcoming twelfth season – and it turns out, this isn’t the first thing that she has starred in. 

Kim has actually been acting for more than a decade – however, most of her previous roles were so quick that you might miss them if you blink. 

It’s safe to say that acting isn’t Kim’s most successful endeavor – and while she’s landed a slew of small roles and brief cameos over the years, many of them were in movies that were widely panned by critics and audiences alike.

As she lands the role in AHS, FEMAIL went ahead and recapped everything else that she has acted in so far. She is seen in the 2008 flick Disaster Movie

Take the flick Disaster Movie, for example. The film – which was Kim’s first ever role – was branded by some as the worst movie of all time after it came out in 2008, and it now has the lowest possible rating on Rotten Tomatoes. 

And don’t forget Kim’s seconds-long part in the 2009 movie Deep in the Valley – which got reviews that said, ‘I’m embarrassed to say that I have seen this piece of trash,’ and ‘Is there any movie out there worse than this?’

Kim’s latest role in American Horror Story is certainly a big step up from the things she has starred in previously.

The FX show, which was created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk and first premiered in 2011, is one of the most popular show’s of all time. 

Kim will join Emma Roberts in the latest season, The Hollywood Reporter announced last week. The rest of the cast has not been revealed just yet.

‘Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,’ Ryan said in a statement.

‘Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.’
