Live stream concerts have become the norm, and artists are engaging more than ever on their social media platforms to make sure that fans are still engaged. While we all miss the energy and ambiance of a live concert, music is still very much a part of our culture, and hopefully we will be back to enjoying festivals and live events soon. Justin Bieber is one of the youngest artists on this list. At just 27 years old, he has a net worth of $285 million. Though he’s not yet 30, he has been a staple in the music industry since he was just 13. His debut album, My World 2.0, was recorded in 2008-2009, and released in 2010, when Bieber was 14, according to Wikipedia. His career has seen him release 6 full-length studio albums, including his most recent, Justice, released earlier this month. In 2018, Justin married his girlfriend, Hailey Baldwin.

Katy Perry is one of our generation’s most notable pop stars. Her debut hit, I Kissed A Girl, became the pop anthem of the summer in 2008. With six full-length studio albums to her name, she has amassed a net worth of $330 million. Record sales are not solely responsible for her riches. According to Legit, Katy Perry earns at least $25 million per year as a judge on American Idol. Recently, Katy Perry welcomed her first child with partner Orlando Bloom, a little girl named Daisy Dove Bloom, who was born in late summer, 2020.

Her net worth is over $400 million and is expected to rise, as she continues to re-release her studio albums under ‘Taylor’s Version’.

Beyoncé is a powerhouse pop and R&B singer who has been on the scene since the Destiny’s Child days in the 90’s. When the group disbanded in 2006, Beyoncé focused primarily on her solo career, which quickly established her as one of the top solo artists of our generation. While she has released six solo full-length albums, she has also starred in dozens of films, which has added to her net worth, which has peaked over $500 million.

Jay-Z is a solo artist, music producer, record executive, and third richest musician in the world, according to CEO World.  Married to Beyoncé since 2008, the couple have gone through some pretty public ups and downs, with allegations that Jay-Z had been unfaithful surfacing around 2005. Beyoncé’s 2006 album, Lemonade, was filled with metaphoric and literal lyrics that supported many of these claims. Through the tough times, they did stay together, and have three children together.

One of the biggest names in music history, Paul McCartney is by far the richest musician of our generation.
