THERE’S nothing quite as irritating as going shopping with a loved one that has a habit of wandering off.

You’ll be trying to show them things before you realise they’ve disappeared, not to be seen for another half an hour.

Luckily one woman has come up with a genius idea to help you keep track of them – and people are finding it hilarious.

Kate, known online as @katebrown321, regularly shared entertaining videos with her 680 TikTok followers.

In a new video, she shares how she kept track of her sister during a recent trip to the Metrocentre Shopping Centre in Gateshead, Newcastle.

During the 14-second video, Kate films her sister walking around their local shopping center with a Grinch balloon tied to the buggy she’s pushing.

She then shows how she’s able to spot her in every shop, thanks to the Grinch's head bobbing above the shelves and clothing racks.

Below the video, she wrote: “Hack if you’re shopping with someone that’s prone to wandering off.”

Fans loved the hack, with the video gaining more than 91,000 likes and 920,000 views.

In the comments, Kate’s followers praised her idea, with one writing: “I need this for my toddler. She always be trying to find a new family when we go out.”
