Sophie, Countess of Wessex and Prince Edward stepped out today in Edinburgh as part of a royal tour of Scotland. Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II are also currently visiting the country.
Sophie and Prince Edward arrived at Edinburgh’s St James Quarter for a tour of the new scheme.
St James Quarter was developed by Nuveen Real Estate and had been updated, reopening last week.
Sophie dressed for summer in a white and pink ensemble.
She wore a pink pleated light pink shirt which was covered in white flowers.
It cut off just below the knee and she appeared to wear nude coloured tights.
The midi skirt has been worn by the Countess before and is by fashion house Valentino, costing £1,390, although it is now sold out.
The mother-of-two recycled an ARossGirl x Soler white blouse which was tucked into the skirt.
The royal wore a pair of Prada pointed toe nude suede pumps, costing £650.
The Queen’s daughter-in-law also had on a cream fitted blazer and carried the Sophie Habsburg Cleo Clutch in Brown Rose.
She wore her mid-length blonde locks styled into a half-up half-down do.
The royal added to the look with bold jewellery that pulled the outfit together.
She wore an oversized silver necklace which had pink opaque pearls on it.
This was paired with matching drop pearl earrings and she donned a floral face covering.
Fans of the royal took to social media to praise the look worn by the 56-year-old.
One said: “She looks so pretty,” while another commented: “Her smile!”
A third added: “I want to shop this look.”
Sophie and Prince Edward were seen for their first engagement in Scotland yesterday.
The royals carried out royal duties in Forfar and Angus.
The couple was seen at Forfar Golf Club, Utopia Costumes and a social supermarket S-Mart.
The Countess of Wessex chose to wear a floral navy dress yesterday.
She teamed it with a fitted navy blazer and Penelope Chilvers shoes.
