WOODEN toys are coveted by parents worldwide, but can often be expensive and hard to find.

So it makes sense that mums and dads are scrambling to get their hands on The Works' new wooden toy range, as prices start from just £3.

A post on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook shared a look at the adorable range, which includes wooden puzzles, fruit and vegetable play sets.

There's even a pretend cake stand complete with mini cake slices.

While the puzzles – a number one, alphabet one and shape one – are £3 each, the food sets are still extremely reasonable at £8.

There are also pull along unicorns and dinosaurs in the range for £5 each, a shape sorter for £8 and a stacking train set for £10.
