TWO friends shared their awkward makeup malfunction in an attempt to take a selfie together on a night out.

One joked that the makeup brand, Patrick Starrr, owed her reparations for the incident.

Lynette (@lynettemariee23) shared the incident in a video with her TikTok followers.

Lynette and her friend got close for a photo together, pushing their faces against each other's.

Once the photo was done and she pulled away, Lynette realized her friend's makeup had rubbed off on her face.

The two burst out laughing: "Patrick Starrr, you owe me money b***h," the friend joked.

Quick on her feet, the friend dabbed at Lynette's face with tissue: "Okay, we're going to BRONZE, we're going to bronze b***h," she joked.

Lynette warned her viewers against using the brand's setting spray: "Patrick Starrr's setting spray does not work," she said.

To their surprise, the brand reached out to make it up to them: "Hi Lynette, we are so sorry this happened to you and your friend," commented One Size Beauty's TikTok page on their video.

"Our team would love to connect and make this right. Please check your DMs."

In a follow-up video, the duo showed off the complementary products they received from Patrick Starrr, including two setting powders, a primer, and a lip stain.

They clarified they had nothing against the brand and were just joking, blaming the incident on Miami heat and the foundation she was wearing.

"We live in Miami, we have to clarify that, it's hot as s**t outside," Lynette explained.

"To be real, I was wearing a foundation that does kind of make me oily," her friend added.

The two were blown away by the brand's response to their video: "One Size, shoutout to you guys, it's crazy you even paid attention," the friend said.

"You could've been like 'It is what it is, you got a defective can' but the fact that you reached out to not only me but her as well is insane."

People took to the comments to share their thoughts on the incident: "Awww this makes me so happy for you both," said one viewer.

"Ok even if it’s not great, I’d forgive them after getting a big box of gifts," said another.
