Meghan Markle blasted for ‘completely unnecessary’ date clash with Princess Kate’s carol service for the Queen | The Sun
12th December 2022

A ROYAL expert has blasted Meghan and Harry for releasing their docuseries on the same day as Kate Middleton hosts a carol service in memory of the Queen.

Harry & Meghan has sparked major controversy and the upcoming episodes could outrage King Charles and Prince William, according to a royal biographer.

Volume Two is set to include the exiled couple’s incendiary account of quitting royal life — known as “Megxit."

In the new trailer, Prince Harry took a fresh swipe at the Palace and accused them of "not telling the truth to protect" him and Meghan.

The video, posted to Twitter, also included Harry talking about "institutional gaslighting."

Meanwhile Meghan claimed: "I was not being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves."

But suggestions that royal officials were happy to lie to protect Prince William from scrutiny has sparked rumours that bombshell revelations will centre around him and Kate.

However, while people watch the Duke and Duchess of Sussex share their story, the Princess of Wales will be fulfilling her public duties.

She is scheduled to be recording ITVs Together At Christmas in Westminster Abbey joined by husband Prince William.

King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla will also stand by their daughter-in-law's side to support and celebrate the late Queen's decades of unwavering public service.

'Living Nostradamus' who 'foresaw Queen’s death' predicts Harry & Meg's future

This clash of dates has left people wondering if Kate is furious, and question whether Harry and Meghan have insulted Queen Elizabeth II's memory.

Royal expert, Angela Levin, told The Sun Online: "Catherine is made of sterling stuff, she wouldn't be watching it or talking about it, but the fact that Harry and Meghan chose that date speaks for itself it is completely unnecessary.

"It reflects on them not Kate."

It has been reported by sources that the date for Kate's recording had been set in the summer.

When asked about what King Charles thinks of the documentary, the expert claimed: "If Camilla is attacked I know King Charles will be absolutely candescent, likewise William with Kate.

"But there's no point getting themselves all ready to fight because that is what Harry and Meghan want, they want a great battle.

"The Royal Family won't get involved in a battle with such ludicrous people."

This is backed up by other Royal sources, such as a friend of Wills who told the Sunday Times: “He says he will never watch it and I know he definitely won't.”

Another source confirmed this statement as “correct”.

Ms Levin also revealed that the Royal Family are most likely to wait until Harry's book, Spare, hits the shelves in January next year before they issue a public comment.

The Royals haven't watched the documentary, according to Ms Levin, for which the Sussexes are reported to have been paid around £88million.

The expert pointed out that the family are extremely busy at this time of year and suggested they won't lower themselves and become involved in Harry and Meghan's drama.

Writing for news.com.au, royal critic Daniela Elser said: “The big caveat here is that we’re only at the halfway point, with the show’s narrative having only reached their wedding three episodes in.

“Maybe all the hand grenades and oh-my-God moments are in the next “volume”, out this coming Thursday, which will cover events from mid-2018 and through the convulsions of Megxit.
