A MOM-OF-TWO has wowed other homeowners with her easy tip for making glass stovetops sparkle like new.

Chantel Mila Ibbotson (@mama_mila_) revealed she combines a selection of ingredients that are easily found around her home to make an effective cleaning solution.


She boasts over 1.3 million followers on TikTok where she regularly posts cleaning, organizing, and interior design advice.

Chantel has also penned a book sharing eco-friendly and DIY tips.

She took to the social media platform to reveal how she achieves a dazzling finish each time she cleans her stovetop.

The text over the video read: “Hack: How to make your glass stovetop shine.

“Two tablespoons of baking soda and two tablespoons of lemon juice.

“The citric acid in this powerful mix cuts through baked-on grime.

“Wipe with hot water to reveal your shining stovetop.”

She sprinkled each of the ingredients directly onto the stovetop which caused them to bubble before she wiped them away.

She captioned the post: “How to clean your glass stovetop + make it look new again. Save this video for your next deep clean.”

The video went viral with over 134,000 views and 2400 likes.

The useful kitchen hack came after Chantel had impressed her followers with the best ingredients for cleaning the bathroom.

She said: “Mix white vinegar, dish soap, and clove or tea tree oil. This mix cuts through shower grime and mold.

“Place coffee grounds in your bathroom to rid unwanted odors fast.

“Wash bathmats with baking soda and essential oils to rid musty odors.”
