A DERMATOLOGIST has shared her top tip for healing dry and cracked hands this winter.

She explained that her useful skincare hack takes minimal effort as it is most effective when done just before going to sleep.

Dr. Lindsey Zubritsky (@dermguru) has garnered over 1.1 million followers on TikTok, where she shares advice for different skin conditions.

The board-certified dermatologist took to the social media platform to explain how cracked hands can be easily healed overnight.

She shared a snap of a hand with skin that looked dry and rough due to harsh winter weather.

She said: “If your hands are looking like this, this is what you’re going to want to do.

“Soak your hands in a bowl of water for like 10 minutes.

“Do not fully dry them. Leave them a little damp and then grab that big tub of Vaseline that you have.

“Grab a ton of it like this.”

Dr. Lindsey used one finger to scoop out a large amount of the product and then rub it all over her hands.
