FROM your dishwasher filter to your shower head, there are some things you should be regularly keeping up with when refreshing your appliances.
Well, fret not, because cleaning whiz Kami Larae laid out 10 ways to ensure that your appliances are tidy and sparkling.
CHANGE YOUR AIR FILTERS
In a video shared with her 285.3 thousand followers, Larae first advised users to change their air filters.
"These can cause a lot of allergies, especially if you have pets," the cleaning enthusiast noted.
DEEP CLEAN WASHING MACHINE
Larae advised to either add one cup of vinegar or baking soda to an empty cycle in order to deep clean your washing machine.
She explained not to use both at the same time, as according to her, they will cancel each other out.
Once you've thrown your cleaner of choice in, be sure to put your machine in the hottest setting.
CLEAN OUT WASHING MACHINE DEBRIS FILTER
"Make sure you use a towel and a bowl, because the first time I did this, I got water everywhere," Larae said of cleaning the debris filter on her washing machine.
After cleaning the filter, Larae wiped the excess water from the floor.
CLEAN THE DRYER VENT
Using a bottle cleaning brush she found at Whole Foods, Larae spruced up the inside of her dryer vent.
