But now the mum-of-three – who welcomed her third son with McFly frontman Tom Fletcher earlier this year – has revealed her genius hack for getting her sons to eat their vegetables… and we don't know why we never thought of it before.
Sharing a video of the "runner bean challenge" with her 1.1million Instagram followers, the 33-year-old star has injected a little fun into meal times by getting her sons to eat their vegetables as quickly as possible.
Competing against her adorable three-year-old son Buddy, Giovanna described the inventive eating game as her family's "own version" of I'm A Celeb's Bushtucker Trials.
Because as all parents will know, getting children to eat their greens can sometimes seem as tough as anything in the I'm A Celeb jungle.
Racking up over 415,000 views in just over 24 hours, the short video shows Giovanna and Buddy sitting at the dinner table as they race to finish their runner beans.
And in true mum style, Giovanna obviously allows Buddy to win.
Unsurprisingly, the ingenious mealtime method has gone down a storm with parents who can seriously relate to Giovanna's struggle.
One user wrote: "This is so cute. Such a good idea to steal!"
Another added: "Fantastic, what a great way to get them to eat veg."
Describing Giovanna's hack as totally "genius", one impressed follower gushed: "Excellent way to get your children to eat good food, too lovely."
Giovanna and childhood sweetheart Tom are one of the most solid couples in showbiz and often share photos of their family and stunning home online.
Last month, the mum-of-three was praised by fans after she revealed she cried when Buddy had his first hair cut because she became "strangely attached" to his curls.
