As many loyal Demi Lovato supporters know, the singer is excellent at opening up about the difficult moments in her past. While we’ve mostly seen those moments of hers through media interpretation (and we all know how that can go), this time she’s giving fans a glimpse of her world through the one person’s eyes who’s most important: her own.
Dancing With the Devil, Demi’s powerful four-part documentary in partnership with YouTube, lets viewers into the intimate moments of her struggle to survive the lowest moments in her life. From multiple sexual assaults, a 2018 drug overdose (where she also revealed she suffered three strokes and a heart attack), and ending a very public engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re seeing Demi at her most vulnerable, and it’s incredibly refreshing and brave.
While the series is definitely intriguing, there’s one tiny issue: You might not know exactly how to stream it. Don’t you worry, because we’ve got the answers right here for you.
Where can I watch Demi’s documentary?
Unfortunately for those hoping it would stream on Netflix or Hulu, that’s not the case. Dancing With the Devil is available exclusively through Demi’s official YouTube channel or at the embed at the top of this story. As the documentary made its debut at the beginning of SXSW earlier this month, viewers can now waive the premium fee and stream it for free.
But don’t think that just because it’s on YouTube, you need to sit at your laptop and binge it. You can take the series on the road with you via the streaming site’s app, or you can project it on your smart TV’s app as well.
