‘At the beginning of the pandemic last year, I got locked down in Melbourne with one of my best mates and we fell in love,’ she told Vogue this week.

‘We’ve been friends since 2014, lived together, travelled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic.’

Sarah says that the stars aligned and a romance between the pair arose – just like the plot of a film she might star in.

‘We’ve just never been single at the same time,’ she explained.

‘I love it. I love Brooklyn. It’s like, I don’t know, Brooklyn is like little brother to Manhattan, or like the Australia to America,’ she said.

She added, ‘it’s like on the outside looking in, but you get the better view’.

Snook plays the character Siobhan ‘Shiv’ Roy in Succession, which has been a huge hit for HBO.

The series is set within the powerful Roy family, who run a massive media conglomerate, with Shiv and her siblings Roman (Kieran Culkin), Kendall (Jeremy Strong) and Connor (Alan Ruck) all working below their father Logan (Brian Cox).
