As well as revealing his side of why he chose to step away from the Royal family during his appearance on The Late Late Show, Prince Harry also opened up about his relationship with Meghan Markle, and the early stages of their romance.

The dad-of-one, who shared a rare glimpse into his Montecito Mansion, was asked by host James Corden when he knew his wife was 'the one' for him.

While the pair sat on an open-top bus, James, 42, enquired: "When did you know Meghan was the one?"

Harry, 36, responded: "The second date I was starting to think, 'Wow, this is pretty special'."

James then asked: "Why? Where did you go?" to which Harry said: "It wasn't so much where we went, it was the fact that the way we hit it off with each other, and we were so comfortable in each other's company.

"Dating with me or with any member of the Royal family I guess, is kind of flipped upside down.

"All the dates become dinners or watching the TV and chatting at home, and then eventually when you become a couple, then you venture out to dinners, to the cinema and everything else.

"So everything was done back to front with us, so actually we got to spend an enormous amount of time just the two of us rather than going to friends houses or out for dinner where there are other distractions.

"There were no distractions and that was great, it was an amazing thing. We went from zero to 60 in the first two months," he divulged.

James continued the conversation by asking: "What is a regular night for you both?"

He explained: "Depending on how busy the day has been, we do Archie's tea, give him a bath, read him a book, put him down, get downstairs, Meg might cook a meal, might order a takeaway, go upstairs, get in bed, turn the TV on, watch some Jeopardy!, maybe watch a little bit of Netflix."

The couple, who are all set for an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, announced they were expecting their second child on 14 February.

A spokesperson for the pair said: "We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”
