He's never one to mince his words and now Piers Morgan has furiously lashed out at Liz Hurley for posting topless pictures of herself on Instagram.

The dad-of-four, who said he is no longer pals with Donald Trump, hit out at the actress on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday morning and said it was "creepy" for her to ask her 19 year old son to take the snap.

In the picture, Liz, 55, can be seen posing outside in the snow and wearing no top and a white pair of knickers.

Her hair and make-up are done and she has a white and black fur coat on.

After seeing the photo, Piers, 55, expressed: "Yeah, she looks fabulous, but what are you doing Liz? A bit of snow and you get your kit off.

"And who took the pictures? Your 19 year old son, took the pictures? Isn't that a bit creepy?

"What is all this! It's what we call in the business 'thirsty and a bit creepy'."

Piers insisted that it wasn't what 'thirsty' means, with co-host Susanna Reid adding: "It means thirsty of attention!"

"No, no, no," he responded. "They're thirsty for me!

"You can think two things when you look at it – one, she looks great. Which she does. But also, 55? Getting your 19 year old son to take pictures of you stripping off in the snow?"

Deciding to stick up for Liz, Susanna hit back:" Sorry. After women go over 50 are they not allowed to bare any flesh? That's what happened to Davina McCall. She got trolled."

"No, Davina didn't do this. Come on, you can think she looks great but come on! You're 55 – put your clothes on," the former Britain's Got Talent judge replied.

Susanna's defending of Liz comes after she was forced to defend herself after she was criticised for showing off her cleavage in a low cut dress on the ITV morning show.

The television presenter, who was previously praised by Piers, shared a screenshot of a news headline on her Instagram and had some choice words for her critics.

She wrote: "SHOCKER! Woman has cleavage. Realised it is STILL before watershed so here's a nice covered up version."
