Nema Vand is one of the stars of Bravo’s reality series “Shahs of Sunset.” Vand grew up in Los Angeles and even went to high school with a super famous name: Meghan Markle. Last year, he took advantage of this fact while being interviewed on the Reality Life with Kate Casey podcast, where he spilled a few details about what the Duchess of Sussex was like as a teenager.
“She knew what she was doing … We were at a party one time and she sat on my lap. She got nose to nose with me. For a 16-year-old guy, that is an emotional moment. She said to me in Farsi, ‘You are so beautiful.’ I asked her, ‘How do you know Farsi?’ She said, ‘I learned it for you.’ Then she walked away” (via Flare).
However, that interview happened right around the same time Vand was focused on promoting his work on “Shahs of Sunset,” so it could have been little more than him drumming up publicity. Vand has reportedly always been interested in acting, and his work on the show is helping him get rich and famous.
Nema Vand makes money from various ventures
While Nema Vand’s exact net worth isn’t known, he’s estimated to be worth between $500,000 (via The Famous Info) and $1 million (via Distractify). While that’s quite a bit below the net worth of fellow “Shahs of Sunset” cast member Golnesa Gharachedaghi, it’s still nothing to sneeze at. According to romper, Vand has also worked as a producer for a couple of television shows, which nets him some earnings on top of his reality TV paycheck.
Prior to joining “Shahs of Sunset,” Vand worked as a digital marketing consultant and a branding executive. He reportedly had clients in both New York and Silicon Valley (via Wali Kali). He joined the show in Season 7 and even brought his sister onboard for Season 8. Nema Vand is notoriously private about his personal life, which makes his claims about Meghan Markle all the more interesting.
