I'm a Celeb: Myleene Klass showers to save Jason Donovan in 2006

I’m A Celebrity… South Africa star Myleene Klass has spoken of her pride in her “strong body”, which she infamously flourished in the ITV show’s 2006 series. The former Hear’Say member, is one of the three late entries to the all-star edition of the popular reality television show.

Klass’ bikini-clad shower has been written into I’m A Celeb folklore, but the 45-year-old would not reveal if she had brought a new two-piece with her for her second trip to the jungle.

She said: “There are worse things to be known for than being really clean! Since then, I have had three babies and I don’t look like that now.

“I am really proud of how strong my body has been.”

“It has been through lots of trials and tribulations since. I want to remind myself of that. It’s also good to remind yourself you can do it.”

Myleene also speaks of how she left the 2006 series “a different person”.

She said: “I learnt in Australia I was a lot stronger than I gave myself credit for.

“Before I did the show, I was at college, then I worked as a backing singer, then a pop band and then classical work.

“You can lose confidence in yourself and obsess about what is presented to you as you don’t know any better.

“I realised I was mentally stronger than I ever imagined.”

Klass’s three children are supporting her new journey. She said: “They are excited too. They weren’t around when I first went in.

Myleene will not enter the camp alone tonight, as she will be joined by Coronation Street actor Andy Whyment and former Queen of the Jungle Georgia Toffolo.

The trio will begin their adventure away from the main camp with basic resources in Savannah Scrub.

Georgia, 28, said: “You will never not be scared of horrible creatures.”

Andy, 2019’s runner up, said: “It feels great to be doing it all over again.”
