CMT announced on Tuesday that they have added Morgan Wallen, Sam Hunt, Shania Twain and several other artists to the lineup of performers at the forthcoming 2020 CMT Music Awards on October 21.
Twain, who will be making her first appearance at the CMT Music Awards in nearly a decade, will give a solo performance. Gabby Barrett will also play a solo, while Kelsea Ballerini and Halsey, Jimmie Allen and Noah Cyrus, and Luke Combs and Brooks & Dunn are set for collaborative performances.
Maren Morris, Kane Brown, Ashley McBryde, Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Ingrid Andress, Hardy, Caylee Hammack, Mickey Guyton, Riley Green and Travis Denning are among the other artists named in an earlier list.
Kane Brown and Sarah Hyland will be hosting the event. CMT said more additions to the performers list and two other hosts will be announced in due course.
The event was originally scheduled to be held in June but got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The show will air on October 21 at 8 p.m. ET, on CMT, MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network, Pop TV and TV Land.
