Michael Cohen could be coming to a movie theater near you.
Hollywood is chasing President Donald Trump’s former fixer Cohen as the lawyer readies to start his three-year prison sentence, Page Six has exclusively learned.
Sources told Page Six that Cohen was spotted at a recent power breakfast meeting with “Pulp Fiction” and “Inglourious Basterds” producer Lawrence Bender.
Cohen’s attorney David Schwartz told Page Six: “There is a lot of interest in Michael’s story, but he isn’t open to doing anything at the moment because of continuing
Cohen has reportedly spent 70 hours in interviews with Robert Mueller’s prosecutors and other federal investigators.
Meanwhile, producers can begin hashing out who will play Cohen in any movie version.
Our suggestions include: Bobby Cannavale, Ray Romano, David Schwimmer or Ben Stiller — who’s already comically played Cohen on “SNL.”
Bender — who’s also producing the Al Capone drama “Fonzo” with Tom Hardy as the infamous gangster — did not get back to us.
Cohen’s former attorney Lanny Davis has said the man who personally paid off Stormy Daniels still has a sea of secrets to spill.
Davis said in a statement after Cohen’s sentencing, “At the appropriate time, after Mr. Mueller completes his investigation and issues his final report, I look forward to assisting Michael to state publicly all he knows about Mr. Trump — and that includes any appropriate congressional committee interested in the search for truth and the difference between facts and lies. Mr. Trump’s repeated lies cannot contradict stubborn facts.”
Despite his legal woes, Cohen’s still been a fixture at New York’s power dining spots.
Last weekend, at Upper East Side fixture Elio’s, Cohen was deluged by well-wishers who asked for photos, including a newly engaged couple, witnesses told us.
And upon leaving, Cohen was given a standing ovation by other diners.
