MAFS UK Chanita plots to ‘find a fit guy’ as she talks Made In Chelsea crush
5th December 2022

Married at First Sight UK star Chanita Stephenson has opened up on her wishes for 2023, revealing she wants to meet a "fit guy" after marrying Jordan Emmett-Connelly on the hit dating show.

Chanita, 29, and Jordan, also 29, were instantly attracted to one another when they were partnered up as husband and wife on MAFS UK. But sadly, the pair parted ways after the show, despite being a solid couple throughout the series.

And speaking about her hopes for the New Year, social care worker Chanita said she has her heart set on moving house, travelling and "meeting a fit guy along the way".

When asked about her celebrity crushes, Chanita didn't hold back as she confessed she particularly fancies Made in Chelsea heartthrob Miles Nazaire, 28.

"I would have Michele Morrone under the mistletoe or Miles Nazaire from Made in Chelsea, as he's closer to home."

Chanita opened up about how her life has changed since MAFS UK, revealing she's had "so much support" after rising to fame.

"Since MAFS my life has been a whirlwind, getting used to people knowing who I am and people having an opinion on me but the support has been lovely and I love getting to meet and speak to so many different people," she said.

"I've taken a break from social care work, and I now have a new platform which I am trying to navigate and utilise in a positive way! Overall, life has been fun since the show aired and I've had opportunities that I would never have expected in my life."

After Chanita and Jordan went their separate ways on the show, the star then revealed she gave her former husband a "second chance".

But it still didn't work out for the pair. She revealed to Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Heart FM: "After the experiment, it is tough, it is hard, you can’t prepare for it in anyway, and it’s a complete rollercoaster, after the experiment I did give Jordan another chance, but, he just… we’re just friends."

Chanita added that she had taken a step back from the dating scene after cutting ties with Jordan.

"It’s only recently that I cut my ties with Jordan, so I’ve kind of taken a step back and gone with the flow," she told Jamie and Amanda.

"I think it’s a bit hard to start dating someone, and be like 'Do you want to watch my wedding on telly?'"

Chanita and Jordan separated after she felt her feelings weren't being reciprocated.

"Basically, I kept saying ‘I feel like you’re not interested in me, you’re not making an effort, you’re not doing this’, and he’s all, ‘no, no, no, I can’t wait to see you’ – and then I was right!" she shared.

“And then he was like, ‘Oh, I don’t think we’re compatible, I don’t want to be with you’ – it was really weird."
