Lindsie Chrisley’s life may be an endless maelstrom of drama and humiliation at the moment, but at least her BFF Kailyn Lowry has her back.
In addition to just lending her emotional support after her father tried to blackmail her with her sex tape, Kailyn’s helping her tell her story.
Now, Lindsie is clearing up rumors and outright lies that have been circulating for weeks.
On Wednesday’s new podcast episode of Coffee Convos with Kail Lowry & Lindsie Chrisley, Lindise is shooting down rumors.
Some people believe that she, the estranged daughter, snitched on her parents’ alleged financial crimes.
“To be perfectly honest,” Lindsie begins. “The years that were covered in the indictment, most of those years I was not in communication with my parents.”
“So a lot of the years from like early on that they covered,” she says. “I was in college so I wasn’t even like living at home.”
“And through college,” Lindsie adds. “I don’t know if I’ve shared my whole story or not, but through college I didn’t talk to my parents.”
“So,” she explains. “I definitely like would’ve had no knowledge of anything.”
“And then in the later years that were covered,” Lindsie continues. “I believe that I was like already leaving the show.”
“So I also wouldn’t have had any knowledge of like some of that stuff either,” she says.
The very estrangement that made fans suspect her also kept her from being in the loop about the alleged crimes.
“I just find it a little ironic that there is some blame game things going on,” Lindsie expresses.
“And,” she emphasizes. “I just really had no involvement in that.”
Todd Chrisley made some sinister-sounding remarks about how his love for Lindsie is “unconditional” despite her exposing his blackmail scheme.
“I just really don’t appreciate it,” Lindsie responds on the podcast. “I personally don’t think that the statements that were made were in good taste.”
“And people have to understand like what led me to this point,” she notes.
Lindsie explains: “I also was sent screenshots of comments and photos from Chase’s Instagram page.”
Screenshots, she says, “where he had intentionally cropped me out of photos.”
‘And then the caption was like ‘family’ or you know, something like that,” Lindsie laments. “Which is good and great.”
“That’s fine if that’s how you feel,” she expresses.
It’s really not fine. Not when Lindsie hasn’t done anything wrong — and may be the only one who can say that.
“But also be mature enough to realize that since I left the show,” Lindsie says. “I have not gone and aired any dirty laundry.”
“Let’s not forget what’s been done to me in the media,” she reminds listeners.
“And,” she adds. “What has literally wrecked my life for the past two and a half weeks.”
“Unfortunately for them, but fortunately for me, because I live an honest life,” Lindsie begins.
She continues: “we have been able to, I won’t say seamlessly, but we have been able to move on and get past the f–kery.”
“And it doesn’t take away the fact of the actual issue at hand,” she says. “Which is the legal issues.”
“And those are none of my business,” Lindsie affirms. “So I’m not going to speak on those.”
“But they, that’s what they need to be focused on,” she concluds. “And not merging into my lane.”
