The former One Direction star, who recently unveiled his Hagrid hut in his garden, went on to talk about the heartbreaking moment Bear told him he "needs him".

"He said something quite sad the other day. He was like, ‘Come on, Daddy, we need you now.’ So those moments are really difficult. It’s the longest I haven’t seen him in his life."

The singer then explained that Cheryl and he had come to an agreement that he wouldn't be around as much during the pandemic as he continued: "But we discussed from the start and for different reasons, me and Cheryl decided I should be away for a little bit.
