Joe Giudice’s possible deportation is ‘a sad time’ for Teresa Giudice

Teresa Giudice‘s happy face is just a facade during her family’s difficult time.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star told the crowd at Harrah’s Casino Resort Atlantic City this weekend (via Us Weekly) that she is not in a good place now that her husband Joe‘s bond motion was denied, adding: “It’s a sad time with my husband and everything so we’re going to try and work it out as best we can. The most important thing is our four daughters, so I’m hoping Joe is able to stay in the United States.”

“I had all these businesses and everything went crashing down,” she explained of life after Joe pleaded guilty to fraud charges. “But, look, I picked myself right back up, and if anybody else is going through hard times, don’t worry about it. You will get through it. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I do believe that. You’ve got to be positive!”

Teresa, 47, and Joe, 47, have been married since 1999 and share four children, Gia, 18, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10. The couple was ordered to serve jail time in 2014, with Teresa completing her sentence in 2016 and Joe completing his in March.

Joe is currently being held in ICE custody as he appeals his deportation. If he is ordered to leave, the couple will divorce as Teresa said at the “RHONJ” Season 9 reunion that she would not follow him to his native country and had no interest in being in a long-distance marriage.

Joe seems to have other plans though, as Page Six exclusively learned that he wants to become an MMA fighter once he is released.

It is unclear how much of Joe’s case will be part of Teresa’s story on the upcoming season of “RHONJ,” but Season 10 trailer is expected to drop later this week.
