Jed Wyatt Sister Slams ABC: They Made Me Look So MEAN!!
10th July 2019

If you have been following The Bachelorette Spoilers, you know that the drama between Hannah and her fiance continues even after the proposal.

But there was also no shortage of conflict on this week’s hometown dates as Hannah faced off with Jed’s family.

Now, Jed’s sister is claiming that she and Hannah actually got along edit, but that ABC edited her to make her seem like a harpy.

Lily Wyatt took to her Instagram Stories to say that ABC didn’t exactly show what really went down when Hannah came for a visit.

“They made me look so mean,” she lamented on social media.

Lily followed those words with an emoji of a smiling face both laughing and crying.

“I swear y’all,” Lily assured her followers. “Our conversation went wayyyy better than this!”

That’s good to hear, even though we all know that editing can only do so much to make someone seem unkind.

On Monday’s episode, Jedd’s mother Gina was very direct about her concerns that an engagement would distract from his music career.

“I wouldn’t have felt that way before just because he’s a musician,” Gina admitted.

As she pointed out: “You don’t get a diploma to be a musician.”

“So I mean,” Gina continued. “Jed’s had to have jobs and try to create time and space to do his music.”

“It’s his heart and his soul,” she expressed. “He couldn’t go to work and do music, so his path is different. It’s very different.”

This is when Lily chimed in.

“Him potentially falling in love with you,” Lily confessed to Hannah. “I’m not sure that it’s a good thing.”

Hannah explained to Chris Harrison that she still wasn’t sure which of the final dudes was her person — she felt torn.

“I don’t know what to do,” the leading lady admitted. “I have four great men and I can look at a life with each of them.”

Hannah continued: “but I don’t know if I’ve had time to know who my person is because I need more time.”

“I want to dive in,” she confessed. “And I don’t feel like I’m diving in the way I could with any of the relationships.”

This week, Jed himself spoke out about cheating rumors and the backlash that he has faced from fans of the show.

“Hi y’all,” Jed’s Instagram post began. “Several of you have reached out with messages and questions.”

“Please know I’m not able to answer right now,” he explained.

“But as soon as I’m able to,” Jed promised. “I will.”

Questions about the girlfriend he kept even as he joined the show. Questions about him cheating on that girlfriend before he met Hannah.

Jed then got very, very serious.

“Until then, I ask that you please understand how much the actions being taken towards myself, my family, the men on the show,” Jed began.

He continued: “and above all, Hannah, are affecting all of our mental and physical health.”

Don’t harass reality stars.

Even if they’re no-good cheating liars. They’re real people.

“It goes beyond what is said online.”

“Threatening letters and phone calls have been sent to our homes.”

“My parents and sister are being verbally attacked in public.”

“I beg you to remember what seems like a harmless action is damaging to real people.”

“I want to thank all of you who have reached out,” Jed expressed.

He continued: “or reserved judgement until I am able to speak openly.”

“And,” his heartfelt plea concluded. “I can only ask for your patience and kindness until then.”
