In the sweet wedding snaps, Jack cut a smart figure in grey trousers and a green shirt, which he styled with brown suit shoes.

The Irish-born star sported a well-groomed moustache and styled his brunette locks in a slicked-back style for the special day.

Meanwhile, his bride Roisin looked glamorous in a pastel patterned pink and blue silk dress, which she paired with a matching shawl.

The comedian styled her elegant ensemble with a pair of teal heels and kept her accessories simple with a dainty silver necklace.

Fr Lynch went on to detail the special day in more detail, adding: ‘It was an amazing celebration. Everyone was so relaxed. I will treasure so many memories of this special day.

‘This simple wedding ceremony was amazing because of its simplicity and families coming together to celebrate.’

Speaking to The Irish Independent, Fr Lynch said the nuptials were a ‘pre-wedding’ as the couple plan to have a second ceremony to mark their marriage in England.

He said the couple decided to have a ceremony in County Kerry as they have been holidaying in Ballinskelligs, The Glen, for many years and have ‘happy memories’ there.

‘Jack texted me this morning to say that it was such a wonderful, moving ceremony and afterwards they went for a meal,’ he said.

Fr Lynch said that ‘everyone’ in the area knows Jack well and said the couple are very much part of the local community.

Jack, who doesn’t have social media, has not yet commented on the wedding and tends to keep his personal life private and out of the spotlight.

Following his role in the HBO hit, Jack said he intended to step back from acting because he stopped enjoying it as much as he used to.

Acting: Jack (pictured in July) recently appeared in six-part comedy Out of Her Mind on BBC Two, written by Sara Pascoe, and will next appear in In The Land of Saints and Sinners

Discussing his early retirement from the profession in 2014, he told Entertainment Weekly: ‘The answer isn’t interesting or long-winded. I’ve been acting since age 8.

‘I just stopped enjoying it as much as I used to. And now there’s the prospect of doing it for a living, whereas up until now it was always something I did for recreation with my friends, or in the summer for some fun.

‘I enjoyed it. When you make a living from something, it changes your relationship with it. It’s not like I hate it, it’s just not what I want to do.’

But Jack has since appeared in six-part comedy Out of Her Mind on BBC Two, written by Sara Pascoe, and will next appear in In The Land of Saints and Sinners.

The Netflix thriller was filmed in Co Donegal and Jack will star alongside the likes of Liam Neeson, Ciarán Hinds, Colm Meaney and Kerry Condon.
