Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer first found love in the Love Island villa in 2018, and before they knew it, they were crowned winners of the series.
While the pair went their separate ways in April 2019 when their relationship came to an end, the dad of one, 29, has been seen looking back on when his life was “simpler” with Dani, 25, as his girlfriend.
Alongside a snap of Jack looking bronzed on one of the sunbeds as he was looking at his phone, he captioned the post on Instagram: “Throwback to simpler times. Didn’t even have anyone to text.”
His former co-stars seemed to be feeling the same way as Rosie Williams penned: “Would love to see the pictures on those phones now,” with a laughing face emoji.
Jack quickly replied to his friend: “Ah don’t me too.”
Sam Bird, who was coupled up with Jack’s ex Dani’s close friend Georgia Steel, then joked as he waded in with a comment: “It’s GYM JACK,” while Dr Alex George added: “Tru,” with a laughing face.
Many fans commented about how great Jack was on the show with Dani and how they would love to see them back together.
“Back when you were with Dani, missed an opportunity there lad,” one posted in the comments, to which Jack shared an insight into how things are between him and the mum of one now.
“Was a long time ago I just want her to be happy,” he replied.
Another wrote: “He so misses Dani!" while a third commented: “Time to get back together with Dani with both of your babies!"

It comes after Jack opened up on his "regrets" over the way he treated his former girlfriend throughout their relationship.
In a TikTok video, Jack is seen saying on a tell-all podcast called The Steven Sulley Study: "There's a lot of things I regret with Dani. She's beautiful, she was lovely.
"So, if I could turn back the hands of time I'd be less selfish and start taking other people's feelings into consideration."
The Celebs Go Dating star went on to share how he previously couldn't realise what he did wrong in situations: "Sometimes I think people think that I care more about animals than people, which is probably half true. But really, they want to spend time with you.
"How nice is that, that someone wants to spend time with you, and now I'm on my own…"
He added: "Because in my head it would be, 'I ain't doing nothing wrong, I'm going out, I'm going out. What's the matter with you?'"
Since their break-up, Jack went on to have a baby daughter called Blossom with ex Casey Ranger in January 2020, while Dani rekindled her love with Sammy Kimmence.
Dani is now said to be dating West Ham’s Jarrod Bowenafter splitting from Sammy Kimmence – the father of her baby boy Santiago.
She also said she will “always have a relationship” with her ex Sammy, also 25, who is serving time in prison for scamming pensioners Peter Martin, 91, and Peter Haynes, 81, out of £34,000.
