Katie McGlynn, 28, has given fans her account of last night’s dance with pro partner Gorka Marquez. The Hollyoaks actress, who danced a jive for week two of Strictly, admitted she “might not have been the best”.
She took to Twitter today to update her 106,000 followers following last night’s performance.
Katie wrote: “I had so much fun with @gorkamarquez1 last night!”
She added: “I might not have been the best of the night but I gave it my all and loved every second…
“Tune in tonight to find out if we make it another week.”
Fans of the star took to the social media platform to send her messages of support.
MrBsTweet wrote: “Aww Just watched @KatiexMcGlynn @gorkamarquez1 from last nights Strictly Dancing love Katie’s funny facial expressions which she did advise us of 2 weeks ago.
“& you can see the energy & hard work they have put into this.
“I’m not a fan of the programme but this is marvellous.

It has been claimed Katie has been juggling filming in Liverpool for the Channel 4 soap and her dance rehearsals.
A TV source told the Sun: “Tensions seem to be rising as the actor struggles to juggle her two major commitments.

“There is no suggestion that Katie herself is to blame, she is being pulled in one direction by Hollyoaks and in the other by Strictly.
“But there’s no doubt she is exhausted by her schedule and isn’t getting in as much practice as she would like with Gorka.
“Who’s even arranged rehearsal sessions in Manchester to make life easier for her.”
BBC bosses have made it clear that they do not blame Katie for the situation.
A spokeswoman for the broadcaster said: “The suggestion that Strictly production is disappointed in Katie for any reason is categorically untrue.”
A spokesperson for Hollyoaks also clarified the production team were supportive of Katie’s decision.
They said: “Earlier this week, exterior scenes were delayed by wet weather.
“We then rescheduled a scene so Katie could attend her training, we will all be rooting for her tonight.”
